Hi 👋, I'm Mingzhuo Yin

An infrastructure engineer who enjoys building efficient and reliable low-level system software.

Some of the work I've been part of:

  • RisingWave — a stream processing and management platform.
  • VectorChord-bm25 — a BM25 ranking and indexing extension for PostgreSQL.
  • pgvecto.rs — a high-performance vector similarity search extension for PostgreSQL.
  • Apache OpenDAL — a unified open data access layer, an Apache top-level project.
  • ByteHouse CDW — an enterprise-grade, cloud-native OLAP data warehouse.

When I'm not writing systems code, I'm probably playing games or watching anime — you can find me on Steam and Bangumi.
