Summary

  • Add a draft blog post on the collaboration with Kelsey Shaw, from ds4owd-001 course project to a published open dataset (fecalcanuga) and an ES&T paper, with proper BibTeX citations for both the dataset and the article
  • Remove the ds4owd-002 "Free Course" announcement banner from the homepage (_quarto.yml)
  • Add a relocated openwashdata reports page (gallery: report -> reports/openwashdata-01, new openwashdata-02)

Test plan

  • _quarto.yml no longer contains an announcement: block
  • Blog post renders to HTML without errors and both citations resolve in the References section
  • Blog post author is "Lars Schöbitz" and draft: true
  • (Visual) Homepage shows no announcement bar below the navbar

Kelsey Shaw, a PhD student at the University of Victoria, took part in the [ds4owd-001 course](https://ds4owd-001.github.io/website/) between September and December 2023. During the course she began working with data she had collected for her PhD research. The openwashdata data scientist Mian Zhong supported Kelsey's project, and after the course encouraged her to publish the data underlying her work as an open dataset with openwashdata.
