The warmth revision finishes Part IV: chapters 13 through 16, pronouns, verbs and time, voice and possibility, and evidentiality. This is the first pass under #467's ceiling doctrine, and it shows: six of the twenty-four files change, under a dozen lines, and no chapter keeps a generic no-guarantee statement at all.

Conversions under the ceiling

  • The core pronouns file's "it cannot guarantee equal treatment in the conversation around it" becomes the design offer: "The single form declines to encode rank, so the grammar never asks who outranks whom before you can say you."
  • The reciprocal file's trailing "Whether the exchange is welcome, equal, or caring belongs to..." becomes concrete: "the examples above show where it points most often: help, teaching, thanks, passed both ways."
  • The possibility file's closing "the grammar cannot tell whether the speaker judged the possibility well" becomes "makes possibility part of the proposition, where a listener can weigh it."
  • The negation file drops "Gentleness still depends on tone, power, and the listener's freedom," a generic tail sitting two paragraphs above the file's tuning-fork close, which is untouched.
  • The evidentiality introduction drops "The grammar opens those questions. It cannot require good answers," ending instead on the four exact questions the particles give a listener.
  • The evidentiality closing file drops "and grammar cannot undertake Right Speech for its users." Besides being the general charter, the clause nearly duplicated the Buddhist pillar's keeper ("The speaker, not the grammar, undertakes Right Speech"), a corpus-level template phrase. The no-speech-evidence sentence, which is chapter-specific and load-bearing, stays.

Kept as chapter-specific content

The passive file's accountability paragraph (chapter 15's real boundary), the death lesson's "grammar cannot make it gentle; care appears in timing, relationship, listening" (chapter 14), and chapter 16's evidence-status statement. Chapter 13 now carries none, which the ceiling permits.

The Part IV threshold

Chapter 16 now closes the part the way Parts I through III close theirs, and completes the bookend opened in chapter 9: the inventory promised finite is now fully met, "all thirty-five, each in its slot," and Part V is introduced as what clauses do in company. Eighteen files are untouched, including all of chapter 14, whose words-of-time and turning-of-a-life files already carry the register this sweep aims at.

Audit

Full protocol with the counting pass. Named finding: the "undertake Right Speech" duplication above was caught by the batch scan against merged text rather than by any per-file check, which is the mechanism working as designed. All hard-zero rows at zero; the two new triples (the threshold's "joins, frames, sets inside one another" and the reciprocal's "help, teaching, thanks") each mirror literal contents. Validator: 1275 entries, 0 errors, 0 warnings.
