These changes add support for Valve Steam controllers via an HID backend. Since Steam controllers enter lizard mode and depend on Steam Input instead of acting like standard gamepads, these changes disable lizard mode on the Steam controller when the user is using the mod and allow the inputs to be handled like a real controller. I also added support for the trackpad, which can be used as a cursor (or for moving the player's camera).
The changes also add a Steam Controller section in the settings screen, which allows the Steam Controller's trackpad sensitivity to be changed for menus and in-game camera control.
This has all been tested and works flawlessly with new 2026 Steam Controllers (also known as Triton).
