Curator-bookmarks organizes your browser web pages. It keeps your bookmarks in order so you find what you need. This tool cleans your lists and removes duplicates. It works inside your Chrome browser.

Chrome needs to load the extension folder. Follow these steps to install the tool on Windows.
- Open File Explorer.
- Find the file you downloaded.
- Right-click the file.
- Select Extract All.
- Click Extract to create a new folder.
- Open your Chrome browser.
- Click the three dots in the top right corner.
- Choose Extensions from the menu.
- Choose Manage Extensions.
- Turn on Developer Mode using the switch in the top right.
- Click the button labeled Load Unpacked.
- Find the folder you just extracted.
- Click Select Folder.
The extension icon appears in your browser bar. You can now pin it for quick access.
Click the extension icon to start. The main screen shows your folders. Click a folder to see your links. You can drag links between folders. You can delete items to declutter your list.
Changes happen in real time. Chrome updates your bookmarks immediately. You do not need to restart your browser.
This tool runs on Windows 10 or Windows 11. You need the latest version of Google Chrome. The extension uses very little memory. It works on low-power devices without lag. Ensure your browser stays up to date to keep the tool safe.
Does this tool send my data to a server? No. The extension stays local. Your bookmarks stay on your hard drive.
Will this slow down my computer? No. The code runs only when you click the icon. It does not use CPU power in the background.
Can I undo a change? You use the standard Chrome bookmark settings to restore items. This tool acts as an interface for existing browser data.
What if the icon disappears? Open the Extensions menu in Chrome. Find Curator Bookmarks in your list. Check if the switch is set to On.
How do I remove the extension? Go to the Extensions page. Click Remove under the Curator Bookmarks card. Delete the folder you saved on your desktop to complete the cleanup.
If you do not see the Load Unpacked button, ensure you turned on Developer Mode. The toggle sits in the top right corner of the Extensions page.
If folders appear empty, verify that your bookmarks are synced to your Chrome profile. You can check this by opening the Chrome Bookmarks Manager. If you see your links there, the extension will find them.
