Thanks for creating matplotlylib! Tried to test it out today but I always ended up hitting the same bug.

Hi - there is some strange bug in matplotlib within the contains_branch code. I'm not sure what's causing it, but it should work with python 2.7

Ok, thanks. I suspected it was a 2 vs 3 issue in there somewhere.
