Summary
GitHub Issue: UI Overlap Causing Accessibility Issues for Language Translations
Problem Statement: Users are unable to access the language translation options due to UI overlap with a notification banner.
User Expectations: Users expected to view and edit previously added translations for interactive messages through the language list at the top right corner.
Actual Result: Users could not see the language list due to it being obscured by a notification banner, leading to confusion and difficulty in accessing translation options.
Error Messages: No specific error messages were reported; the issue was visual.
Reproduction Steps:
- Open the interactive message editor to view translations.
- Observe the notification banner for any ongoing announcements (e.g., a webinar).
- Attempt to access the language list options.
- Note that the language list is hidden behind the notification banner.
- Dismiss the notification banner to access the language list.
Additional Notes: The user confirmed the translations were resolved after dismissing the notification but suggested that the UI should be adjusted so that notifications do not obscure essential features.
Action Required: Improve the UI layout to ensure that notification banners do not overlap with important UI elements like the language list.

Glific AI doc bot (bot): Hi there! Thanks for flagging this.
It looks like the translations UI for interactive messages now sits behind the Edit > Translate flow rather than the old top‑right language list. In your flow, click the edit icon on the interactive message node to open its editor, then use the Translate button to add/edit texts per language and Save . If you also need to align flow logic, open the linked Wait for Response node, switch the flow editor language (top‑right), and update the Rule Translations and Category Translations for each option, then Save .
Note: CSV export/import and “Auto translate” in the flow editor do not apply to interactive messages; they only cover “Send a message” nodes, so edits to interactive‑message texts must be done in the interactive message editor as above . Helpful refs:
If you still don’t see the Translate option, could you share the name of the interactive message (or the flow it’s in)? I’ll take a closer look.

adityajlearninglinks: <@1515944141828264069> The translations were already done . And I also tried the translate buttons. How can I find the translations I had added earlier. I just need to edit it. Not add a new translation. I fear that the translate button will lose all the previous translations I had added.
sonia_17430: <@1438402686146973696> Let me check this allow me some time.
sonia_17430: <@1438402686146973696> When i checked I could find the translations in the interactive message titled "Main menu-new-04-05-26". Could you please refresh once and check again. Also if you still face any issue please share the language for which the translation is missing.
adityajlearninglinks: <@1515944141828264069> The language options you were able to see are incorrect. Also, I have tried refreshing the screen but I am unable to view the options.
adityajlearninglinks: Oh wait . It was behind the notification for the Whatsapp webinar banner
adityajlearninglinks: Could you please fix the UI so the notification banner is above the language list.
sonia_17430: <@1438402686146973696> Could you please share the screenshot of this for me to take a look. For me the banner is above the language options only. Also, were you able to find the translation. If not please let me know we will check further.
