When opening a repository,fork remains in a loading state.

When I copy a code repository of approximately 3.5 GB from computer A to an external hard drive
and then open this repository with Fork on computer B, Fork remains in a constant loading state, preventing me from performing any operations on my repository. What is Fork loading at this moment, and what actions should I take to resolve this issue?

Do git status, git log and other git commands work in your local terminal for that repository on the external hard drive?

All these commands execute normally in git bash.

The console seems unable to open because it's stuck.

Additionally, there's one more point: other previously accessible repositories are still functioning normally. Only when switching to this particular repository's interface does it enter a loading state.

Should I send an email to describe this issue, or is there any additional information that needs to be provided via email? I just found an old version of the installation package (version 1.99.3) on my computer, and that version seems to be working fine. After reinstalling version 2.16.1, the issue appears again.

New progress: I found that after copying the repository from my external hard drive to the local directory, everything works fine.

The currently used version is this version. The same repository on the external hard drive has issues, but copying it to the hard drive on my computer works fine.
