No sound on Linux

I am not getting any sound on Linux. Here is the terminal log:

PCSound_Linux_Init: Failed to open '/dev/console': Permission denied
Unable to set up sound.
Failed to find a working PC sound driver.
Unable to set up sound.
I_InitSound: SDL audio driver is none

Here is my system:

OS: Pop!_OS 22.04 LTS x86_64
Host: B660M DS3H AX DDR4
Kernel: 6.17.4-76061704-generic
Shell: bash 5.1.16
DE: GNOME 42.9
Terminal: gnome-terminal
CPU: 13th Gen Intel i5-13500 (20) @ 4
GPU: Intel AlderLake-S GT1
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Lite Has

Does sound work in other programs?

Yes, including in Legacy-UZDoom-4.14.3 and Nugget-Doom-3.

I think you have something wrong with your config. For me the startup messages about sound look like this:

OPL_Init: Using driver 'SDL'.
I_InitSound: SDL audio driver is pulseaudio

What config do you think I have something wrong with? Crispy Doom's or something else?

I suspect you're using the wrong audio driver in Crispy setup.
