Janky on mobile - have elements displace when finger touches screen rather than leave screen

Currently isn't very appeasing on mobile. I think the functionality would be perfect if elements displaced when a user touches the screen instead of when the finger leaves the screen. Other options could work too. Like gyroscope maybe
