Volsync Direct Replication Success/Failure Metric #1128

Description

@Sanjeeth8733

I propose the addition of a metric to track the success and failure rates of direct replication operations in volsync. This metric should differentiate between successful replications and those that encounter errors.

End users (system administrators, DevOps engineers) benefit from this metric in several ways:

Enhanced visibility into volsync health: By clearly showing success and failure rates, users can quickly identify potential issues impacting data consistency across volumes.
Proactive troubleshooting: Early detection of replication failures enables users to address problems before they escalate, minimizing downtime and data loss risks.
Performance monitoring: Tracking trends in success rates over time can reveal changes in system performance or configuration issues.
Informed decision-making: Data-driven insights into replication reliability support better decisions about resource allocation, configuration tuning, and potential workload adjustments.

This feature complements existing volsync monitoring capabilities by providing a focused view on the core aspect of data replication success. Integrating this metric with established monitoring tools would further enhance its value and convenience for users.

I believe this feature would significantly improve the usability and manageability of volsync, contributing to its wider adoption and user satisfaction.
